About Me

Hi, I’m Kelsey Prothro, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with adults, teens, and children in both clinical and school-based settings. I have devoted most of my career to working with individuals and families struggling with past trauma, grief, and relational conflict, as well as anxiety and depression. I value honesty and openness in relationships and building trust with others. I enjoy working with individuals to unlock their internal struggles to move toward a more positive, encouraging future where they can find healing and growth.

I aim to be compassionate and thoughtful to help others find true strength and confidence in their own abilities and provide a safe haven from life’s challenges. My faith is the guiding light in my life and gives me direction and purpose each day in both my professional and personal life.

My goal is to provide a safe space for people to challenge their deepest fears, anxieties, and insecurities to find confidence and strength within themselves!

Family - My wonderful husband of 12 years, my four beautiful children, and our two dogs are the light of my life! We love to spend time playing outdoors, watching movies, reading books, and finding new adventures! They are my biggest cheerleaders and motivators.

Music, hiking, being outdoors, exercising, reading good books, and cozy comforts all bring me joy! All I need is a cup of coffee, a cozy blanket, and a good book in front of the fire and I’m happy.

My solid Rock:Where I find my strength and joy!
